Happy Tuesday everyone! Today’s Top 10 Tuesday prompt is Authors I’d Love a New Book From.
I honestly had a difficult time coming up with ten authors because I still have books to read by many authors that I have grown to love. However, I did still come up with six authors who I would love new books from (ASAP is preferred).
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Artsy Reader.
Emily Henry
This one is my most obvious one. I read Emily Henry’s books way too fast and then I am just left waiting for more! I recently read her newest release Funny Story one day after it was published…and it only took me the afternoon to read. She has become an all-time favorite author of mine, and I hope I continue to love her books in the future!

Erin Morgenstern
The Night Circus is my favorite book of all-time. I reread it every few years, and I still fall in love with it every single time. It wasn’t hard to decide my current favorites because SHE’S ONLY WRITTEN TWO BOOKS 😰 She released The Starless Sea eight years after she published The Night Circus, so maybe in 2027 we’ll have a new release from her.

Edgar Allan Poe
One of the only “classic” authors on my list, Edgar Allan Poe has become one of my favorite writers in the last few years. Ever since I started to teach, I have tried to read more of his works every year, and it saddens me to know we will never get new work from him. “The Raven” is my personal favorite, and I plan on getting a raven tattoo one day.

Taylor Jenkins Reid
I am almost done with TJR’s backlist (I have two books left), but even so, I would LOVE some new releases from her. It’s been two years since she’s published Carrie Soto is Back, a five star read for me, and I haven’t seen anything about her writing a new book. I know she’s been extremely busy with TV and movie adaptations, but hopefully we’ll see a new release from her soon.

Lisa Jewell
Every single time I think there is no way Lisa Jewell can blow my mind again, I end up liking her newest books even more. There is something about her writing that makes me want to drop everything to read her entire book. Her latest release, None of This is True, was no different. I remember picking this up while on vacation, and it got to the point where I would try and read any free second I had (even if it was only for 10 minutes). There have been a few of her thrillers that have felt very “meh” for me, but I have loved the majority.

Ava Wilder
This is another author who has only written two books, but I loved those two books so much. I read an e-ARC of How to Fake It In Hollywood when it was released and it ended up being one of my favorite reads of 2022 (read my review here). Last year, I pre-ordered her second book, Will They or Won’t They, and I read it in one sitting during a 12 hour readathon. This ended up being one of my favorite romance reads of last year. She has become an auto-buy author for me (especially if they continue to be celebrity romances like these two). Fingers crossed that we get a new Ava Wilder release soon!

And there is my list! Hopefully by making this list, I have manifested some new releases in the future 🙂 I hope everyone has a great rest of their week!
Until next time, xx
QOTD: Who’s an author you would love a new release from? Let me know in the comments!

I would love a new book from Erin Morgenstern too! I discovered her books only last year and to say I’m obsessed is a complete understatement.
