Continue readingI can’t believe 2019 is over. A lot happened this year that made it one of the best years yet. I graduated college a few weeks ago with an English Education degree, I moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend, my mental health is at an all-time high, and I read the most books I’ve ever read in a year (56!). With the wonderful year I had, I don’t have a lot of “resolutions” for the new year, but I do have some goals I’d like to reach.
Continue readingThis year has been one of the best reading years of my life. I’m one book away from reaching my Goodreads goal of 50 books, which is a lot for me! I usually average 20 books a year. While I’m extremely close to my goal, I want to surpass it as well.

Continue readingFirst of all, I would like to apologize for my lack of activity. I have been so busy with work and driving home, and last time I was home I forgot my laptop charger, so I literally couldn’t do anything web-related. But, I’m back!
For the month of July, I had extremely high expectations on how many books I wanted to read for the month. If you watch my “July To Be Read”video on Youtube, you’ll see that I wanted to read 8 books this month.
In the month of June, I wanted to read a lot of books. I made a blog post about what I wanted to read and I was hoping for about 8 or 9 to try and get ahead of my Goodreads challenge (52 books in 2016). I read 4. *shakes head in disappointment* This puts me at 17/52 books for my challenge.
I want to get a lot of reading done during the last half of May and all of June. I am falling extremely behind on my Goodreads challenge (to read 52 books in 2016). I’ve only read 8 books this year which puts me 14 books behind schedule. So I want to read 20 books by the end of June. Here’s what’s on my list so far:
