Happy Sunday (but actually Monday) everyone!

I meant to post this yesterday (on an actual Sunday), but I did not get a chance to finish up the post. The last three weeks for me have been insane! The end of the school year brought essays and projects to grade and a whole lot of graduation prep. Graduation finally happened yesterday, and after attending multiple senior grad parties, I am officially finished with the school year! I also worked a private party at a local bar last night to really put a busy end to my week.

This week brings more chaos for me! I am in a friend’s wedding this Saturday, so I am helping with some last minute wedding prep. I also have to drive to the city a few times to pick up some things. Things are not slowing down for me any time soon! But, even with a slow three reading weeks, I managed to finish three books. Here’s my Sunday Post:

The Great Gatsby – I read this every year with my Juniors, and every year, I find something new to fall in love with. I really do adore this classic with my heart and soul. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Hot Henry Effect – Read the full review of my thoughts here. ⭐️⭐️

Savor It – I am DNFing this one, but I think I am going to give it a shot on audiobook once it is released. I just couldn’t follow the writing style in this one, so I’m hoping the change of format will help.

The Princess and the Grilled Cheese – This was the most adorable YA LGBTQ+ graphic novel 🥹 All of the character’s were named after cheeses, and honestly, that was the funniest part to me! Highly recommend this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Here for the Wrong Reasons – This is a recently released lesbian romance that I have had on my backlist for a while now. I am hoping to finish it this week, but with all of the craziness, I am not putting too much pressure on myself.

TV Shows

Parks and Rec – I am now on Season 6 of my Parks and Rec rewatch! We are closing in on the finish line!

Game of Thrones – My friends and I are still dedicating our Wednesdays to rewatching the entire series of Game of Thrones…We still have been consistently watching two episodes a week, and we finished season one recently! It was so fun to see two of my friends, who had never seen the show before, freak out over the twists.

Music

My latest obsession is Chappell Roan 😍 On her album, my favorites are probably Red Wine Supernova and Kink is my Karma, but I love jamming out to this entire album in my car.

Based on the last two months of my listening history, I have been in my pop girl era ✨ This has been a change from the alternative rock or pop punk music I typically listen to, but I’ve been needing some upbeat music for the end of the school year.

After my last Sunday post showed a successful two weeks of blogging, I am a little bummed looking back at the last three weeks. All of these blog posts are from the last eight days! But, I know I can’t wear myself too thin, especially at the end of the school year. I am hoping to post a lot more in the summer.
