I have been wanting to add another weekly meme to my blog for a while, but I wanted it to be something I can easily keep up with. Because of this, I decided to start participating in The Sunday Post!

I will likely not do this weekly; instead, my goal is to participate every two weeks. I think this will allow me to still participate without overwhelming me!

The last two weeks (March 25-April 7) have been jam-packed. I took my high school Seniors on a class field trip to Winnipeg and immediately after, drove three hours to celebrate Easter with my family.

This last week of work has also been pretty busy. I have been working hard to catch up on all the grading I fell behind on while planning the Senior field trip, and I also have been coaching 5th and 6th grade volleyball three days a week. Yesterday, I helped my coworker out by judging for our local Speech meet.

Thankfully, even within all the chaos, I have found time to do some other things I enjoy. Here are my updates for everything in the last two weeks!

Before I Let Go – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – This was a lot more hard-hitting than I thought it was going to be, but also way more spicy than I thought too. Overall, I had a good time with this one, but by the end, the characters’ thoughts were beginning to get too repetitive.

First Lie Wins – ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I read this quickly and while it wasn’t anything mind-altering, I had a good time listening to it!

Movies

Solo: A Star Wars Story – One of my best friends has never seen Star Wars before, so we have spent the last few months watching one Star Wars movie a week. We have finally reached the end! I had actually never seen Solo all the way through before. While I consider myself a huge Star Wars fan, this movie originally bored me to the point where I fell asleep and never turned it on again. After finally finishing it, I can honestly say I was not missing much 😥

The Amazing Spider-Man – I watched this movie for nostalgia vibes and boy, did it deliver. I LOVED Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man growing up, but wow, this movie was not good 😰 I still gave it four stars though because even though it was trash, I enjoyed every second of it!

Bunny – 25% – I am at the point of the book where I am not really understanding what is real or not real, but I am enjoying it a lot!! I am excited for when things start getting more weird.

The Book Thief – I am currently 75% of the way finished with The Book Thief. I am reading this with my sophomores, and I am predicting I’ll finish later this week!

TV Shows

The Bear – Jake and I have finally started watching The Bear, and so far, we have been enjoying it! As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for many years, I have been relating to a lot of what has been happening in the show.

Parks & Rec – I am still in the middle of my rewatch of Parks & Rec! I am currently in the middle of season 3.

Video Games

Baldur’s Gate 3 – Jake and I are still working our way through Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate! In our joint campaign, I have decided to romance Halsin since we’ve been doing too many nice things for my boy Astarion 🥺 In my play through I am completing by myself though, I have been attempting to romance the heck out of Astarion!

Music

With Olivia Rodrigo’s deluxe version of GUTS releasing, I have been listening to the album NON-STOP. I don’t know what it is about my girl Olivia, but she really gives me the feels.

Crafts

I have slowly been crocheting a blanket for my friend’s one-year-old girl. She is OBSESSED with Tangled, so I tried to go for Tangled themed colors in the blanket. I have slowed down a bit now that it takes longer each time I finish a section, but my goal is to add one row every day!

I recently received one book in the mail: Dungeons & Drama. I ordered it mostly because it just looks SO. CUTE (and I love theater AND Dungeons and Dragons lol).
