Happy Tuesday everyone! This week’s prompt was “Books on my Spring TBR.”
As a high school English teacher (and senior class advisor), Spring is always the craziest time of year for me. Next week, I am taking my seniors on a three-day school trip. After that, graduation is LOOMING. I have barely started getting ready for graduation honestly, and I am more than a little stressed.
With stress, however, comes an intense urge to get some reading done. I am someone who loves to read as an escape from my real life problems.
I have tons of books I am wanting to get to in the next few months. I always make a seasonal TBR, but I am also a mood reader. These are just the books I am trying to prioritize for the near future.
Winter TBR Recap
Before I start, I decided to take a look at my Winter TBR to see how successful I was. The answer? Not very successful.

The crazy thing is that I have read a lot of books this winter. I just didn’t pick up these specific books (I was in a really weird, specific mood this winter). Hopefully, my Spring TBR is a lot more successful!

Before I Let Go is probably the book that is my highest priority since it is next month’s book club read for me. A few of these books are my Netgalley picks (I am getting closer to 80% every week!), and the other’s are just books I am excited to read.

I have read Scythe and it was fantastic! I didn’t love the last book though… lol. I was in the minority though. I hope you enjoy all of these!
Oooh adding The Break Up Pact to my wishlist. I also have had Betty on my TBR for a few years now – I read once that it was very emotionally traumatic so I need to make sure I’m in the mood for that before I pick it up!
That’s what I have heard too, so I have been waiting until I’m in the right headspace.

You have such a great TBR for Spring! Scythe, Betty, and The Weight of Blood are all such awesome books that I really enjoyed, and I hope that you do too. Also, Crying in H Mart was another amazing read that hit me directly in the feels.
I just recently finished Crying in H Mart, and oh man, it hit me hard too! I am glad to hear you enjoyed those three books! I’m excited to read them
That one in particular got me right in the feels and still takes up space in my head!
