Happy Tuesday everyone! This week’s prompt was “Books Set in X.” I decided to do “romances set in a small town.”
I have not read tons of books set in a small town, but it is something I have always wanted to get more into! It Happened One Summer is one of my favorite romance reads of the past few years, and it revitalized my love towards romance.
I mostly built this list as a TBR for myself, but as I was building it, I thought it would be really fun to challenge myself to read only small town romances one month in the future. Let me know if you have any other suggestions of small town romances for me to check out that I could add to my list!
There it is! Ten romances that take place in a small town! I have only read It Happened One Summer and Book Lovers from this list, but they were my favorite reads of 2022. Those two books are the reason I wanted to read more small town romances to see if the small town setting can land onto my favorite tropes list.

I love small town settings. Based on what you listed, I think you would like the Sweater Weather series. There are seven books written by different authors, the first is Emma St. Clair, Just Don’t Fall. Here is a link to the whole series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/377141-sweater-weather
This is such an awesome list, and topic idea! I loved Book Lovers, even though I haven’t read most of the other books on this list. As Seen on TV by Meredith Schorr is set in a small town, with nods to Hallmark movies thrown in throughout!
