This week’s Let’s Talk Bookish prompts is all about “Book Blog Names.” I didn’t have time to write this before today, so it’s coming to you guys two days late! I am getting closer to the end of the school year (one more week!), so hopefully I have more free time coming soon.
The prompt: How did you pick your book blog’s name? Have you ever changed it? Have you ever thought about changing it? What are some of your favorite book blog names?

How did you pick your book blog’s name?
Thinking back, I honestly have no idea how exactly I came up with the name Novelistic Pages. I remember trying to come up with a clever name for a BookTube channel when I was a freshman in college (8 years ago!!), and I thought including Novelistic would be the most fun.
After a modge-podge channel that included makeup and books, eventually, I adapted both my blog and YouTube channel to be Novelistic Pages, focusing only on books. I really just thought the name sounded clever, and now, it’s grown on me so much.
Have you ever changed it? Have you ever thought about changing it?
Originally, my blog name (that I started when I was 16) was Life of Kenn. It was basically an online journal for me, and while the posts are no longer published, I still have access to some very cringe entries 😂
When I started college, I really wanted to create a makeup YouTube channel. This is where Kenn MUA was born. I made makeup videos for about four years! I only stopped because I started teaching, and kids very quickly found my makeup page. Makeup is still very much a passion of mine.
A year later, I stumbled onto BookTube, and I wanted to take part in that. I decided to add book videos to my makeup channel, turning the name into Novelistic Beauty. Eventually, I stopped doing YouTube, but I still wanted to take part in book blogging. This is when I changed my name to Novelistic Pages, the name for my current blog, BookTok, and bookstagram.
I don’t have any past videos up (mostly because my high school students WILL find them lol), but I do have some old pictures up on my beauty instagram account!
I honestly don’t think I will change it anytime soon. The name has become a part of me, and it would feel weird to change it.
