Happy Sunday everyone! I am using today to unwind and rejuvenate myself before another busy week. I have had a slow two weeks of reading and blogging, mostly because my schedule has been insane. I am hoping that my life will start to slow down a little bit in the next couple weeks, but I guess we’ll see!
I only do the Sunday Post every two weeks, so let’s get into my two-week recap!
The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received as well as share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.
Recently Finished
Books
Bunny – I am actually working on a review for this one, but wow, this book was insane!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Book Thief – I finally finished reading The Book Thief with my 10th graders!! I forgot how hard-hitting the ending was, and it took all of my willpower not to cry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love, Theoretically – This was my third Ali Hazelwood book, and it is by far my FAVORITE Ali Hazelwood book. Idk what it was about this, but I ATE IT UP. I started at 3:30 after work one day and was finished by 7. Obssesed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Teen Killers Club – This YA thriller was insane! I did not expect to enjoy this one as much as I did. There was a love triangle romance, which is typically not my fav, but it was done pretty well in this one! It was a lot of fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
TV Shows
Hazbin Hotel – This dark, animated, horror comedy….oh, AND MUSICAL!! was a blast. There is currently only one season so far (eight episodes), and I watched it all in one sitting. The music was great (Erika Henningsen from Mean Girls: The Musical and Alex Brightman from Beetlejuice: The Musical were both voice actors!), and I think it set up season two perfectly!! I will say this has some very adult humor and focuses on souls in Hell, but if that doesn’t bug you, I highly recommend this one!
IN PROGRESS
Books
Weirdly enough, I am not in the middle of any books, but I plan on starting Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez today or tomorrow!
TV Shows
Parks and Rec – I am now on Season 5 of my Parks and Rec rewatch! It has been what I have been watching while crocheting a blanket, which also means I’ve spent way too much time on this blanket. 😂
Game of Thrones – Now that my friends and I have finished all of the Star Wars movies, we for some reason decided to rewatch the entire series of Game of Thrones…We watched two episodes last week, but we soon realized that two episodes a night would take us 36 weeks….so we changed to three episodes a week instead lol
Video Games
Baldur’s Gate 3 – I am still working my way through Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate!! I haven’t had a lot of time in the last two weeks to play, but I am hoping to finish the game soon.
Music
I mean, we all (probably) know about the huge release that happened two days ago, and it has been on repeat for me since. I have been slowly converting into a Taylor Swift fan, but my favorite albums have always been Folklore and Evermore. This album gave me similar vibes, which means I have been vibing.
Have you listened to the new album?? Tell me your favorites down in the comments!

Mail / Library Haul
I did not receive any book mail in the last two weeks, but I have quite a few coming soon from pre-orders!!
Until next time, xx

It’s my first time visiting your blog and I have to say it’s looking gorgeous! I love what you did with it! I watched a couple of episodes of Hazbin Hotel and really enjoyed it but haven’t got the chance to watch more of it. It sounds fun though and I’ll try to watch more asap.
And yes yes yes!!! New album out a couple of days ago and I’ve been vibing hard too! 😍

Thank you!! I recently redid my blog, so it’s great to hear the compliment 🙂💖 I definitely recommend watching the rest of it-It was so well-written for being a short season.
Hi Kenn! So nice to come across your blog. <3 (First off, so jealous that you're an English teacher. That's my dream job!) Your past couple of reads have all been really great for you, so that's exciting! I've only read one Ali Hazelwood book (Bride) and wasn't the biggest fan, but I'm hoping to try out one of her contemporary romances soon. I'm thinking Check & Mate? Have you read that one? 🙂
Anyway, have a great week ahead! <3
aimee @ aimee can read
Hi Aimee! I love that teaching is your dream job! It’s a hard job at times, but it really does have some rewarding moments! I haven’t read Bride yet, but I know that it is very different from her other books. I also haven’t read Check & Mate, but I have had many students tell me they loved it!!
I’m an Ali Hazelwood fan too.
Wishing you a great reading week
I really need to read more of Ali Hazelwood’s stuff — I read the book that collects three novellas, and really enjoyed it. I have a couple of her others on my shelf… I just need to get to them.
Hope you enjoy whatever you pick to read this week!
I haven’t read her collection of novellas yet, but it’s on my list!! My next read by her will be Bride, which will be a total change in what I’m used to from her 😂
