I found this tag on Emma’s Chapter and just had to do it. I struggled with a few of these but it was fun to think about what and how I read and how much I’d be willing to change.

Only Read Trilogies or Standalone?

Although I do love a good standalone, I’m going to pick trilogies. There’s more of a chance to be able to delve into the world and learn more about the characters.

Only Read Male or Female Authors?

Ugh, this is a hard one. I’m going to say female authors. I have a lot of male authors that I love but I think I have more female authors that I love.

Shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?

As much as I love Barnes and Noble, I don’t have one where I live. I only make it to one maybe once a year so I do a majority of my book shopping on Amazon.

All Books Become Movies or TV Shows?

TV Shows. I think it would allow for most of the books to be more fleshed out rather just stuffed into one movie.

Read Five Pages Per Day or Five Books Per Week?

Only five pages a day?? I’m going to go with five books per week. I don’t know if I’d ever be able to actually succeed at that, but five pages per day is so limiting.

Be A Professional Author or Reviewer?

Reviewer. As much as I would love to be an author, I don’t think I currently have the skills, patience, or time to sit down and write a novel. Maybe in the future, but as for know, I love reading other author’s books.

Only Read Your Top Twenty Favourite Books Over and Over or Always Read New Ones That You Haven’t Read?

Always read new ones that I haven’t read. As much as I love my top twenty favorite books, I don’t think I’d enjoy not being able to experience a new book. Every year, I add two or three more books to my absolute favorites list and I want to be able to keep doing that.

Be a Librarian or a Bookseller?

Librarian. I’m actually considering getting my library sciences masters. I’m currently going to be a High School English teacher, but I would love to be a librarian one day.

Only Read Your Favourite Genre or Every Genre Except Your Favourite?

Only my favorite. If I wasn’t able to read thrillers, I would die.

Only Read Physical Books or E-Books?

Physical. I only read two or three e-books a year and I love having the physical book in my hand while I’m reading.
