Continue reading2019 has been my best reading year ever. I am currently at 53 books, passing my Goodreads goal of 50, and beating my record for books read in a year. The most I’ve ever read in a year before has been 27, so I’ve almost doubled the books. I know the reasoning is that my last two semesters of college allowed me more time to get my reading done and also, my mental health is way better than it has been in past years. Since I read a decent amount of books this year, I decided to finally do my Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year.
Not only did I read more books this year, but I’ve also expanded the types of books I read! I typically stick to contemporary or mystery, but this year I was able to read a few fantasy books. I started to love the genre and I hope I’m able to read even more next year!
Continue readingFirst of all, I would like to apologize for my lack of activity. I have been so busy with work and driving home, and last time I was home I forgot my laptop charger, so I literally couldn’t do anything web-related. But, I’m back!
For the month of July, I had extremely high expectations on how many books I wanted to read for the month. If you watch my “July To Be Read”video on Youtube, you’ll see that I wanted to read 8 books this month.
I like to try out a lot of new products, and because of that, I sometimes forget about older products that I loved. Here are some products that I recently starting using again!
In the month of June, I wanted to read a lot of books. I made a blog post about what I wanted to read and I was hoping for about 8 or 9 to try and get ahead of my Goodreads challenge (52 books in 2016). I read 4. *shakes head in disappointment* This puts me at 17/52 books for my challenge.
This is the review I posted on my Goodreads:
I read this book my 7th grade year and loved it. I read it probably four or five times between then and my freshman year of high school (age 15). So, four years later, I decided to read it again to see if it was still one of my favorite books, and I’m sad to say that no, it is not.
I recently have taken a break from Ipsy for a few months but decided to try it out again for the summer! The bag is $10 a month with free shipping (in the US; I’m not sure about anywhere else). Every month they send you a makeup bag and 5 sample products from different companies.
