It’s officially Tuesday which means it’s time for another T10T! This weeks prompt: Covers or titles that made me want to read OR buy the book!
This list was particularly easy for me as I often add books to my Want to Read shelf on Goodreads based on the cover when I’m scrolling through my feed or looking at New Releases! I am 100% a cover buyer, anyone else?
(As you’ll probably note, I LOVE when there’s drawings/graphics of people rather than a real person. I think it makes a cover so much cuter!)
The Hating Game
Enemies to Lovers? I’m automatically in.
The Darkness Outside Us
The colors. The characters. The font. All around a STUNNING cover. Plus, I’ve been wanting to read more LGBTQ+ books this year so I’m definitely going to pick this one up!
The Ones We’re Meant to Find
YA has absolutely upped the cover game lately. I cannot handle how beautiful and angelic this cover is.
The Final Girl Support Group
I want to pick this book up purely because of the title. I am a HUGE horror fan (both books and movies) and the idea of a book on final girls brings me ALL the joy.
The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale
This middle grade cover intrigued me the second I saw it. And the title? Anything to do with fairytales, count me in!
You’ve Reached Sam
Seriously YA!! Why you gotta be this pretty!? The light and dark contrast on the cover not only matches the synopsis (since the boy dies), but it just looks so stunning. I’m actually picking this one up soon!
Tokyo Ever After
The fact that cover is paper art is mind-blowing. The talent of whoever put that together for the cover… I applaud you.
She Drives Me Crazy
A f/f romance about a basketball player and a cheerleader!? Where was this when I was in high school!?
The Ex Talk
This one appealed to me mostly because I could tell it was a book about a podcast or radio show and I loved that! Ever since I read One to Watch (which is a book about a TV show, but similar concept), I’ve been wanting to read more books with a mixed media aspect to it!
Sheets
Sheets is the only graphic novel on this list! I honestly still have no idea what this graphic novel is really about but that cover is TOO cute to resist! I love little ghosties.

I’m 100% a cover snob/buy kind of person. However I’m trying to be better/more selective now. 🙂 “You’ve Reached Sam” is one I’ve been eyeing. It’s pretty and I think the story does sound interesting, too.

Great list of books! A great cover can make or break a book’s sales because we will gravitate towards a book if we like the cover as a reader.
